Celebrating the Diversity of Dance at U of T
Details: Join us for the 16th annual Festival of Dance-- Canada's largest University Dance Festival. This year's festival is a showcase highlighting dance styles from around the world, including: Irish, Ballet, Modern, Bollywood, Jazz, Hip Hop, Indian, Musical Theatre and more!
When: March 25 & 26, 7:30PM.

Cool Find:
BANK on ART is a project showcasing contemporary artworks on the
display screen of a functional bank machine. Developed by artist and cu-
rator Kelly McCray, this money-dispensing ATM features images produced
by contemporary artists before and after each banking transaction.

The objective is to engage and expose the general public to the work of artists through an
existing routine activity.

Now YOU can be a part of it!

UTM Residence Photography Contest 2011

By: Colman Cup Committee and the Artistic Resource Team

We want your photos! The annual UTM Residence Photography Contest is a unique opportunity for residence students to put their photographic skills to the test. All students are welcome to submit, and it is a great way to not only have your photographs exhibited, but additionally a great way to earn your community a significant amount of Colman Cup points!

We are looking to reward the best submissions in the following categories:

1. Cell Phone Snapshot (1st place: 75 Colman Cup points)
- Any quick photograph taken with your cell phone

2. Abstract (1st place: 75 Colman Cup points)
- Imagination and creativity are a must in this category - so think outside the box!

3. UTM Spirit (1st place: 75 Colman Cup points)
- The photo that best represents either our campus, our community, your mascot, etc.

The 1st place winners in each category will receive 75 Colman Cup points, and their works will be featured in the upcoming Arts Festival Visual Art Display. Submit your digital photos online by emailing them to: art.utm@gmail.com, printed photos can be dropped off at the Residence Services Desk in Oscar Peterson Hall (addressed to Chris Lengyell).

- Individual students may submit one photo per category.
- All photos must be originals
- The deadline for submissions is Monday March 7th, 2011 so make sure your photos are submitted before then!

Celebrating the super-powered women of the Tudor-Stuart stage! From Lady Macbeth to Moll Cutpurse to Elizabethan versions of the murderous Medicis and Borgias. Here they all are in one riveting roller-coaster of a collage play with music.

Don’t have any one to go with?
The Artistic Research Team is planning a trip Wednesday January 26th 2011.
We will be meeting in the OPH Lobby at 7:10 pm.
You are welcome to buy your ticket ahead of time or at the doors.
Tickets are $10 for students.
